Elena Neva is known worldwide for her expertise in Bactrian Jewelry and the history of Jewelry in general, her books and lectures on art history, and her knowledge of the art and jewelry of ancient Asia and Tajikistan, where she was born. She has visited twenty-six countries, taught in Tajikistan, Israel, Russia, and America, and has lectured at some of the worlds finest universities, and she now teaches at several schools and colleges in the Boston area, where she specializes in the Russian language and art history.
One can find Elena's books in more then ten countries around the world - Canada ,Germany, the Netherlands, Russia, Israel, France, Spain, Greece, Taiwan, South Korea, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, the Ukraine, the United States, as well as in public or private collections, such as Harvard, Columbia University, Princeton , Haifa and Moscow Universities, Bunker Hill Community College, and many libraries in Massachusetts - Medford, Watertown, Swampscott, Natick, Arlington, Bedford, Newton, Revere, Lexington ,Brookline, Clinton, and the Boston Public Library. Her works are also housed in many other states.
